PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior member and an exterior structure exhibiting an effect of cooling ambient air introduced into a building.;SOLUTION: An exterior member 1 comprises: an adhesion layer 3 having hydrophobic property; and a porous material layer 4 obtained by densely arranging a porous material having water absorption property on the adhesion layer 3, and an exterior structure 10 is configured by the exterior member 1. Thereby, the exterior member can be cooled by utilizing the evaporation heat of water contained in the porous material layer, and accordingly an ambient temperature can be lowered. When the exterior structure is constituted of such an exterior member, the effect of cooling air surrounding the exterior structure can be exhibited.
