PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately estimate soluble chloride content percentage obtained on the basis of a test method regulated in JIS A 5002, for fine aggregate manufactured from marine concrete.;SOLUTION: An estimation method includes steps of: obtaining in advance a relationship between X-ray intensity of fluorescence X-ray R2 which is radiated from fine aggregate S when an X-ray apparatus 1 emits a first X-ray R1, and total chloride content percentage in the fine aggregate S which is obtained through a total chloride quantitative method regulated in the JCI standards for the fine aggregate S made of marine concrete; recognizing in advance a relationship between the total chloride content percentage and soluble chloride content percentage in the fine aggregate S that is obtained through a test method regulated in JIS A 5002; measuring new X-ray intensity of the fine aggregate S made of marine concrete; and estimating the soluble chloride content percentage of the fine aggregate S that is obtained through the test method regulated in JIS A 5002, on the basis of the measured value, the relationship between the X-ray intensity and the total chloride content percentage obtained in advance and the relationship between the total chloride content percentage and the soluble chloride content percentage obtained in advance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
