PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct drive motor capable of having a flat structure while suppressing footprints.SOLUTION: A motor rotor comprises: a motor portion 2 for adding rotation torque to an output shaft S; a bearing 4 for rotatably supporting the output shaft S; a rotation detector (a resolver) 6 for detecting a rotation state of the motor portion 2; and a housing 8 for positioning and fixing the motor portion 2, the bearing 4, and the rotation detector 6 so as to be aligned in an output shaft direction to a motor installation surface B. The motor portion 2 is configured by a stator 2a which is always kept in a stationary state, and a rotator 2b which is arranged rotatably and oppositely to the stator 2a. The housing 8 has a motor housing 8a to which the stator 2a is fixed, and a motor rotor 8b to which the rotator 2b is fixed; and has a generally cylindrical double structure in which the motor housing 8a and the motor rotor 8b are coaxially arranged. The motor housing 8a and the motor rotor 8b are integrally molded in an extending direction of the cylinder without a gap.
