PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a pressure of a pinch roll as a proper value based on a load of a roll segment under casting, and thereby to perform light rolling reduction on a proper condition in a method of carrying out light rolling reduction of a cast slab using a light rolling reduction zone of a roll segment system in which a pinch roll has been arranged.;SOLUTION: The light rolling reduction controlling method is characterized as follows.
