PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, or the like, which searches for an alternative function if a function registered in a called macro is disabled, and which updates the alternative function with registered information on the macro.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an input means for inputting print conditions; a search means for searching for an image forming apparatus that can execute the print conditions; a display means for displaying a searched image forming apparatus; a print job generation means for generating a print job when the image forming apparatus is operated; a job sending means for sending the print job to the image forming apparatus; and a progress management means for managing the progress information of print jobs. When a second image forming apparatus is operated in a period from when a print job is sent to the first image forming apparatus to when execution of the print job is completed, the print job generation means regenerates the print job by distributing the remaining sheets at the time of operation, respectively, to the first image forming apparatus and the second image forming apparatus.
