PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically circulating bicycle parking device capable of storing both a standard bicycle and a large-size nonstandard bicycle, for example a bicycle with baby seats attached to a front and a rear thereof.;SOLUTION: As bicycle parking platforms, a standard bicycle parking platform 4 to mount a standard bicycle with a low height and a nonstandard bicycle parking platform 5 to mount a nonstandard bicycle with a high height are used. An endless chain 1 has a first region X to suspend the standard bicycle parking platform 4 and a second region Y to suspend the nonstandard bicycle parking platform 5. The first region X and the second region Y have respective lengths equal to integral multiples of a standard suspension interval D1 which is a distance to suspend the standard bicycle parking platform 4 at a regular interval throughout a length of the endless chain 1. The second region Y has a fewer number of the nonstandard bicycle parking platforms 5 suspended therein at a wider interval than suspending the standard bicycle parking platforms 4 at the standard suspension interval D1 in the second region Y.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
