PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selenium containing water reduction treatment apparatus for stably performing the reduction treatment of selenic acid in selenium containing water following a biological treatment method in a long period by increasing the reduction treatment efficiency for selenic acid.SOLUTION: The selenium containing water reduction treatment apparatus includes: a column container 2 packed with a carrier 3 of a porous or fibrous structure to whose surface a cohesive bacterial cell 4 containing selenic acid reducing bacteria is adhered; and an organic substance supply device 5 for supplying an organic substance to the column container 2.
