PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article turnover device or the like capable of reducing the impact on an article to solve the problem of a conventional article turnover device in which: the article is dropped through an inclined transportation path and therefore impact at the time of the dropping is easily applied to the article since the conventional one has a configuration in which the article is transported from an upper side transportation path to the lower side via the inclined transportation path.;SOLUTION: An article turnover device (turnover device 10) includes: a storage part 16 which has a carry-in port 14 for carrying an article (tire 5) in and a carry-out port 15 for carrying the article out and can store the article carried in through the carry-in port 14; turnover means 12 which turns over the article carried into the storage part 16 by turning over the storage part 16; elevating means 13 which vertically moves the storage part 16; and article holding and releasing means (tire holding and releasing means 19) which holds the article carried into the storage part 16 at the time of the turnover and releases the holding of the article after the turnover.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
