Synergistic combination therapies for the treatment of vitiligo

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating leucoderma using a synergistic prescription. PSOLUTION: The main treatment methods of pigmented illness characterized by leucoderma, a mottled decoloration of skin, are psoralen+UV-A, a steroid, a basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) peptide lotion agent, or a surgical treatment. Psoralen+UV-A is effective in about 50% cases, the steroid has a limited effectiveness only in rapidly diffusive leucoderma case, and liable to recurrence if treatment is discontinued. The combined treatment comprising the local application of this peptide lotion on the leucoderma, combined with the other treatment for the leucoderma has also synergistic action.
