PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting mechanical stability of stabilizing elements so that the stabilizing elements mutually and mechanically connect blades of buckets of a turbine, especially a steam turbine, in a peripheral direction in an assembled state, and adjacent stabilizing elements intruded and engaged with each other in an engagement area are improved to solve known defects and reproducible and sure results are quickly obtained.;SOLUTION: The existence of a crack on material portions of stabilizing elements 12; 12a, 12b existing in an engagement area 14 is automatically scanned from the outside by using ultrasonic waves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
