PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material allowing the formation of an artificial blood vessel with a valve which includes an enlarged part and the valve which are formed of biological tissue, a method for producing the artificial blood vessel with the valve using the base material, and the artificial blood vessel with the valve.SOLUTION: The base material 1 for forming the artificial blood vessel with the valve includes a first columnar body 5 forming an upstream tubular part 4 of the blood vessel 3; a second columnar body 7 forming a downstream tubular part 6 of the blood vessel 3; a plurality of bulging bodies 10 forming the enlarged part 8 with a blood vessel wall bulging radially outward and valve lobes 9; and locking means 11 for locking the bulging bodies 10 to the first columnar body 5 and/or the second columnar body 7. The locking means 11 includes recesses 15a, 15b formed at one or both axial end faces of the first columnar body 5 and second columnar body 7 and recessed in the axial direction, and a locking part 18 projecting radially inward from a bulging body 17 and locked to the recess. The outer peripheral surface of the body 17 of the bulging body 10 serves as an enlarged part forming surface 20, and a clearance provided between the bulging body 17 and the first columnar body 5 and/or the second columnar body 7 forms a valve lobe forming part 22.
