PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhanging scaffold to which a sensor bar can be attached to prevent a worker from falling from an overhanging top plate.;SOLUTION: An overhanging scaffold 2 is mounted in an overhanging position to a gable-side end of a body top plate 4 in a portable workbench in which ladder-like leg bodies 5 and 5 are provided at both ends of the body top plate 4 respectively so as to downwardly spread and the body top plate 4 and the both leg bodies 5 and 5 are formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape. The overhanging scaffold 2 comprises: a overhanging top plate 6 with its base-end side gable-end connected with the gable-end side end of the body top plate 4; and a support frame 7 with its upper end articulated with a front side gable-end of the overhanging top plate 6 and with its lower end engaged with a step bar 5b of the leg body 5, the both ends of the front side gable-end of the overhanging top plate 6 being provided with support member mounting fittings 8 and 8 respectively, a support member such as a handrail bar 9 being mounted to the both support member mounting fittings 8 and 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
