PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly search the names of photographed flowers when the flowers are photographed.SOLUTION: A database 110 stores the sample images of flowers, the names of the flowers, the sample images of leaves and images instructing points-of-interest for narrowing down the names of the flowers as well as feature information in association. An extraction part 9 compares the feature information of the images of the photographed flowers with the feature information stored in the database 110, and extracts the sample images which are highly similar to the images of the photographed flower as candidate images. A control part 15 makes a display part 12 display not only the images of the photographed flowers but also the extracted candidate images, the names of the flowers corresponding to the candidate images and points-of-interest for narrowing down the candidate images side by side, and changes the plurality of candidate images into the sample images of the corresponding leaves to make the display part 12 display the images.
