PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method and a measurement device for permeability of a barrier element and ultra-barrier element, in accordance with a balancing penetration measurement method.;SOLUTION: In a measurement chamber 3 provided with a hollow transmission element 4 and a penetration sink 5 where convective material transfer of permeative substances permeated through a barrier element 2 is placed subsequently in a measurement process, diffusion along a diffusion path 11 is replaced by the material transfer controlled. The penetration sink 5 guarantees that permeative substances are continuously removed and that mass flux balance of the penetrative substance through the barrier element 2 and the diffusion path 11 is kept. Concentration gradients of the permeative substance and permeability of the barrier element obtained from them are measured by noninvasive measurement of concentration of the permeative substances along the diffusion path 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
