PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular weight marker that is simply prepared in a short time and at a low cost and a method for preparing the same. PSOLUTION: The molecular weight marker includes a polyprotein in which a plurality of immunoglobulin binding domain molecules of one kind containing an immunoglobulin binding domain are linked through linkers and a decomposition product in which the expression host of the polyprotein cuts the linkers.
