PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector which can be smoothly assembled and exhibit proper function as a connector, and an assembly method thereof.;SOLUTION: Of boss pins 70, a boss pin 70A which is disposed on the outer circumference of a region where a wire insertion hole 51 is formed has a tip end part 70c formed into a tapered shape. Thereby, when fitting a wire seal 30 mounted on an inner housing 10 in an outer housing 50, the boss pin 70A can be easily introduced into a pin insertion hole 80, even if the boss pin 70A is not in alignment with the pin insertion hole 80 when the tip end part 70c of the boss pin 70A comes into contact with the pin insertion hole 80. It is also effective to increase a length of a protrusion of the boss pin 70A of the boss pins 70 which is disposed on the outer circumference of the region where the wire insertion hole 51 is formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
