PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preprocessing apparatus for an online type sample analyzer and a method of controlling the preprocessing apparatus for the online type sample analyzer in which air bubbles and clad can be efficiently discharged without stopping continuous operation, and radioactive clad is not pooled.;SOLUTION: A preprocessing apparatus includes a photosensor, an electromagnet, an ultrasonic wave generator, a first switching valve, a second switching valve, a first pump, a second pump and a controller. When driving air bubbles out and discharging clad, the controller changes over the first switching valve and the second switching valve so as to shut off a second sample water passage via a concentration column and to form a first sample water passage for backflow of desalinated water, stops the electromagnet, and starts the ultrasonic wave generator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
