PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having a high viscosity index and excellent low-temperature fluidity, a lubricant base oil and a grease base oil each comprising the compound, and a lubricant and a grease oil comprising the respective base oils.;SOLUTION: The alkyl diether alkyl monoester compound of a trimethylolalkane is represented by general formula (1) (wherein R and R' are each independently an alkyl group having 5-18 carbon atoms; and R" is hydrogen or an alkyl group having at most 5 carbon atoms).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
