A method for producing diesel fuel with improved yield and quality by integration of fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) and hydrocracking (HC), comprising the following stages:arrangement of FCC and HC processes in parallel;feedstock segregation to each of such processes depending on the content of aromatic hydrocarbons; anda fractioning common stage for both output streams from HC and FCC processes, also comprising recycling the unconverted fraction towards the FCC unit.
