An assay for the detection of human gene CD 155 Polymorphism at Nucleotide number 199 in Exon 2, the assay comprising extracting DNA from human cells obtained from a sample such as Blood in EDTA, or as a FTA card or buccal mucosal cells or human faces; amplifying the DNA using PCR primers CD 155 exon 2F and CD 155 Exon 2R; sequencing amplified DNA using sequencing primer CD 155 Exon 2F20 and CD 155 Exon 2R, or subjecting amplified DNA to SNP assay using SNP primers CD 155 SNPF and CD 155. The invention further provides novel primers for PCR amplification sequencing and SNP assay of Exon 2 of CD 155 gene. FIG. 1
