A process for the organic hydroperoxide-mediated synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles, bimetallic nanosol and prussian blue nanoparticles therefrom

A method of making Prussian blue comprises steps of mixing a transition metal salt solution with organic hydro peroxide, vigorously shaking reaction mixture over a vertex cyclo mixer and adding HCL to the said reaction mixture. Also method for preparation of metallic nanoparticles is being described. The method comprises steps of mixing hydrophilic amino functionalized alkoxysilane with a noble metal salt solution, then adding organic reducing agents to reaction mixture and mixing over a vortexer to the reaction mixture. The method is for the preparation of gold nanoparticle, palladium nanoparticle or bimetallic goldpalladium / palladium-gold nanoparticle. Reference Fig. 1 & 2
