The present invention describes the dihydrate of 1,2-cyclohexanediaminplatinum(lI)-bis-(4- methylbenzenesulfonate), a method for producing 1,2-cyclohexanediaminplatinum(lI)-bis-(4- methylbenzenesulfonate) and the hydrates thereof, and the use of 1,2- cyclohexanediaminplatinum(lI)-bis-(4-methylbenzenesulfonate) and of the hydrates thereof.
