Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and a device for determining risks associated with customer requirements in an organization. The method comprises retrieving information about the organization from one or more sources. The method further comprises determining one or more categories based on the retrieved information, wherein the one or more categories are context sensitive for the organization. Further, the method comprises determining weightage of each of the one or more categories. The method further comprises receiving a requirement for modifying current system of the organization from the user. Further, the method comprises determining a risk score of the requirement based on the one or more categories and the weightage of each of the one or more parameters. FIGURE 4
