TOPI NUT FOR STEEL CHANNEL SLEEPERS ON RAILWAY BRIDGES AND BOLT NUT ARRANGEMENTS

The present invention of topi nut relates to anti rotation arrangement of nuts provided on steel channel sleepers on railway I bridges and bolt nut arrangement. This invention relates to an anti rotation arrangement on the existing steel channel sleepers on railway bridges and bolt nut arrangements. The topi nut made up of fabricated metal sheet or molded material with bottom part of the topi nut holding the existing nut and top part of the topi nut surrounding the bolt portion. The top or middle portion is slotted vertically. A split pin is provided through the slot in the top part/middle portion of the to pi nut and bolt hole. The split pin provided will hold the rotation of the top part or middle part of the topi nut by taking reaction from the bolt hole. The top or middle part of the topi nut will prevent the rotation of the bottom part of the topi nut. The bottom part of the topi nut will hold the nut and thus not allow any rotation of the nut or loosening of the entire assembly. ~.-
