The impact screen (9, 10) comprises a plurality of shielding bodies (16) made from a material having a high resistance to wear. The shielding bodies (16) are fixed horizontally one after the other to a front face of the impact screen using fixing means allowing them to be detached from the impact screen (9, 10) with a view to being replaced. The impact screen (9, 10) consists of a fixed portion (21) linked to the frame (2), and a removable portion (22) carrying the shielding bodies (16) and allowing all the shielding bodies fixed thereto to be simultaneously removed from the crushing chamber (3). At least one such impact screen (9, 10) is disposed in a crushing chamber (3) of an impact crusher comprising a frame (2) that further contains a rotor (6) having a horizontal axis provided with strikers (7) disposed at regular intervals around the periphery of same.
