The invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and can be used for diagnosis and treatment of amblyopia and diplopia. Specifically, Bangerter optical filter or a set of filters (Bangerter Occlusion Foil Bar) is used. The optical filter consists of a parallel-sided plate of transparent material with echelette on one side and the working facets being in parallel to the opposite side of the plate. The inventive idea consists in developing Bangerter filter in the whole range of the coefficient of weakening of the visual acuity with minimal deviation from the nominal value of the coefficient.
