METHOD FOR PREVENTING CEREBROVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS AND CONCOMITANT DYSCIRCULATORY ENCEPHALOPATHY

A method for preventing cerebrovascular complications in the patients with osteoarthritis and concomitant dyscirculatory encephalopathy provides for the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, chondroprotectors, the topical agents and small doses of aspirin 75 mg once daily. In addition, the drugs based on ginkgo biloba (Bilobil forte) is prescribed at a dose of 80 mg twice daily meals for 2-3 months followed by the maintenance dose of 80 mg once daily for 6 months (in total).
