A device for cryogenic modeling of acute pancreatitis consists of Peltier element, thermoprobe and air cooler. One-stage Peltier element with larger cold-generating area of 160 mm2 and lesser height of 4 mm is used. The area of the base of the thermoprobe is the same as the area of cryogenerating surface of Peltier element. The probe is made of copper in cone-pyramidal shape with lateral surface area covered with insulating paint. The operating surface is designed in a shape of 20 mm2 circular area. To remove heat from the heated surface of Peltier element, the active cooling is used. The contact area of Peltier element with the probe and air cooler is treated with thermal paste.
