A method for reconstruction of gross specimen surgical margin after radical prostatectomy for regional prostate cancer by way of fragmentation of its surface coloring. After completion of surgery, restoration of anatomic integrity of the prostate gross specimen with seminal complex is performed using hypodermic needles, whereafter its surface is fixed in 10% buffered formalin solution and painted over point-wise with ink 24-72 hours after.
