A rising water inlet column assembly (105) that can be suspended from an offshore structure (102), including a beam (106) of at least one first tubular conduit (106A) and a second tubular conduit (106B) which generally extend juxtaposed along a longitudinal direction, each including, as seen in the longitudinal direction, a proximal portion (107) including suspension means, followed by a connection portion (108), followed by a distal portion (109) including a water intake section (403), said distal portion (109) extending between a first distal end (401) and the connecting portion (108) of the respective tubular conduit, fluidly connecting said portion of connection (108) the proximal portion (107) and the distal portion (109), the first and second tubular ducts being laterally connected to each other by means of at least one spacer (110) cooperating with the respective portions of connection (108), characterized in that at least a part of the distal portion (109) of the first tubular conduit (106A) extends more in the longitudinal direction than the second tubular conduit (106B) when it is in a state of total suspension.
