A disposable device (10) applied to the skin for transdermal administration of a plurality of doses of a therapeutic substance carried by iontophoresis, comprising: (a) a donor reservoir (16) containing an amount of a therapeutic substance intended to be administered transdermally by iontophoresis, further comprising said donor reservoir (16) a plurality of electrodes (18, 20) separate donors providing a reactive material selectively connectable to provide a plurality of successive doses of a therapeutic substance sources; (B) a counter reservoir (12); (C) an electrical power supply (28, 30) connected between said reservoir (16) and said donor counter reservoir (12); and (d) a system user control operable to control the current flow of the circuit to allow the therapeutic agent is administered to said reservoir (16) donor.
