A method for the transmission performed by a station, STA, in a multi-mode wireless network, the method characterized by: obtaining a transmission opportunity, TXOP .; transmit data; transmit, in a condition where the STA has no additional data to transmit, an indication of truncation of the TXOP; and receive a contention-free end box, CF-End, space-time block code, STBC, and a contention-free end box, CF-End, non-space-time code by block, STBC, in response to the truncation indication of the TXOP.
