Meningococcal polyvalent vaccine comprising immunologically effective amounts of three or four different protein-polysaccharide conjugates for use in the protection of a human being against N. meningitidis infection, in which each of the conjugates contains a different conjugated capsular polysaccharide to a carrier protein, and in which each capsular polysaccharide is selected from the group consisting of capsular polysaccharides from serogroups A, C, W-135 and Y of N. meningitidis, in which also: (i) the carrier protein is CRM197; and (ii) when there are four different protein-polysaccharide conjugates, each of said polysaccharides is partially depolymerized.
