A medicament for use in treating Alzheimer's disease having as active ingredients a carbostyril derivative of general formula: ** ** Formula wherein A is a C1-6 alkylene group, R is a cycloalkyl group and bonding between positions 3 and 4 of the carbostyril skeleton is a single bond or a double bond, or a salt thereof and donepezil or a salt thereof.
