A movable platform assembly (1) comprises a base portion (2), able to be fixedto a support structure, and at leastone pivotable arm (32a, 32b) hinged at one end with the base portion (2),about a first hinging axis (xl), and at the other end with aloading platform (3), about a second hinging axis (x2), the pivotable arm(32a, 32b) being able to be rotated by means of actuatingdevices (50, 60, U1, U2, S1, S2, S3), which are designed to allow the platform(3) to maintain a constant inclination with respectto the base portion (2) during rotation of the pivotable arm (32a, 32b). Theactuating devices comprise a first and a second rotaryactuator mounted on the first and second hinging axis, respectively. The firstrotary actuator (50) comprises a first part (51) fastenedto the base portion (2) and a second part (52) rotatable with respect to thefirst part (51) and fastened to the pivotable arm (32a, 32b),and the second rotary actuator (60) comprising a first part (61) fastened tothe loading platform (3) and a second part (62) rotatablewith respect to the first part (61) and fastened to the pivotable arm (32a,32b), said actuating devices also comprising control devices(U1, U2, S1, S2, S3) able to control in a co-ordinated manner rotation of saidfirst and second rotary actuators.
