A rolling mill stand andrelated rolling mill for rolling rod-shapedbodies, even large in size, which meetsthe requirement of stiffness uniformity ofthe rolling mill stands in the transversaldirection, all the hydraulic capsules beingfirmly fixed to the external structure of therolling mill and providing for the sidechange of the rolls of each stand. Thearrangement of rolling rolls and relatedextensions of each rolling mill stand is suchto avoid problems of corrosion and damagingto the extensions themselves and tothe reducers due to the drainage of thecooling waters.
