PRODUCTION METHOD FOR A MODIFYING COKING ADDITIVE BY DELAYED COKING ADDITIVE BY DELAYED COKING OF RESIDUE OIL

Methods for producing oil coke, using delayed coking, are described. A primaryfeedis heated and charged into a remote stripper of a rectification column, whereit is mixed withheavy gasoil as a recirculant and where a secondary feed is produced, which isthen heated ina reaction/heating furnace and transferred to a coking chamber, where a cokingadditive andvapour/liquid coking products are produced. The latter ones are fractionatedin therectification column, forming gas, benzene, light and heavy gasoil and cokingbottomproducts. Calcium oxide/hydroxide is mixed with the secondary feed, and thenmixed withheavy gasoil, before being transferred to the coking chamber. Alternatively,calciumoxide/hydroxide is added to the coking bottom products, mixed with heavygasoil, afterwhich the coking bottom products are either mixed with the secondary feedbefore feeding itinto the coking chamber or they are introduced into the coking chamberdirectly.
