GNSS JAMMER DETECTION SYSTEM WITH OPTICAL TRACKING AND IDENTIFICATION

A system detects, identifies, and optically tracks a jammer by calculatingposition andvelocity information associated with the jammer based on jamming signalsreceived at one ormore antennas, and utilizing the position and velocity information to controlone or morecameras. The cameras capture a series of images that include the calculatedlocation, theexpected movement of the jammer, or both. The system analyzes the images toextractmotion information associated with one or more objects identified in theimages. The systemutilizes the calculated position and velocity information and the extractedmotion informationto determine which of the identified object in the images is the jammer.Further, the jammermotion information extracted from the images may be utilized to update thecalculatedposition and velocity information associated with the jammer, to improve theoverall accuracyof the tracking of the jammer.
