Provided are an auxiliary blade suction device for a weed cutter and a weed cutter having the same. The device is at least one block piece (1) which is connected to the machine body of the weed cutter and is made of a flexible material, and is used for blocking the gap between the machine body of the weed cutter and the ground. The weed cutter comprises a machine body (2) of the weed cutter, an engine (3), a blade (4) and an auxiliary blade suction device for the weed cutter, wherein the engine is fixed to the machine body of the weed cutter, and a rotation shaft of the engine is connected to the blade. The weed cutter which is provided with the auxiliary blade suction device is used, so that broken weeds can be sucked into a weed bag of the weed cutter in a weeding process.
