Provided is a means of maintaining an antibacterial effect which is superior to that of techniques which exhibit an antibacterial effect by coating dentures with silver ions, and in particular taking into account the application of this method to dentures which are used when the act of masticating food and drink takes place continuously on a daily basis, is able to maintain the antibacterial effect even if the masticating act is continuous. By subjecting a denture immersed in a room-temperature silver aqueous solution generated by phytic acid, sodium polyacrylate, sodium hydrogencarbonate and silver acetate to microwave irradiation, nanosilver particles are distributed and supported on the denture.
