The present invention relates to a wall-mounted evaporative humidifier installed on an indoor wall surface, the humidifier receiving humidification water, which is directly supplied from a water supply facility etc., using a waterspout, supplying a humidification filter with the humidification water, vaporizing moisture supplied to the humidification filter, and supplying the vaporized moisture to the indoor space, the humidifier comprising: a humidifier body (100) having a wall fixing means (130) installed on the rear surface, an indoor air suction unit (110) formed on one side surface, and a humidification air discharge unit (120) formed on the other side surface; a humidification induction means (200) installed inside the humidifier body and filled with a humidification filter (210), which is wetted when humidification water is supplied from the waterspout (300) and flows downwards; a waterspout (300) installed beneath the humidification induction means such that water is directly supplied from a water supply facility etc. and configured to receive humidification water that flows downwards along the humidification filter; a water level control means (400) composed of a water level measuring unit (410) for measuring the level of humidification water in the waterspout and a ball top valve (420) for supplementing water when water in the waterspout is insufficient; a pump means (500) provided with first and second pumps (510, 520) for supplying the humidification induction means with humidification water in the waterspout or discharging the humidification water to the outside; a blower (600) for generating humidification air by forcing air to pass through the humidification filter and thereby vaporizing moisture in the humidification filter; and a control unit (700) for controlling the water level control means, the pump means, and the blower to humidify the indoor space or stop the humidification process.
