Provided are: a graphite structure which has low electrical resistance and enables high strength joining; a graphite heater; a method for producing a graphite structure; and a method for producing a graphite heater.A graphite structure (10A) is equipped with: an almost cylindrical first graphite member (20) having a small-diameter portion (22); and an almost cylindrical second graphite member (30) which is to be connected to the first graphite member (20). In the small-diameter portion (22), an outer peripheral surface (221) has an uneven pattern part (23). The second graphite member (30) has, on an edge face (31) thereof, a depressed portion (32) which has a smaller diameter than the maximum diameter (D1) of the small-diameter portion (22) and into which the small-diameter portion (22) can be inserted, and a carbon-based surface attachment part (24) is interposed between the outer peripheral surface (221) of the small-diameter portion (22) and the inner peripheral surface (321) of the depressed portion (32). Thus, when the small-diameter portion (22) is pushed into the depressed portion (32), the uneven pattern part (23) on the outer peripheral surface (221) of the small-diameter portion (22) is grazed and scraped, and therefore the small-diameter portion (22) and the second graphite member (30) come in direct contact with each other. Furthermore, the outer peripheral surface (221) of the small-diameter portion (22) and the inner peripheral surface (321) of the depressed portion (32) are closely adhered to each other through a graphite powder produced by the above-mentioned scraping and the carbon-based surface attachment part (24). In this manner, the first graphite member (20) and the second graphite member (30) can be joined to each other with low electrical resistance and high strength.
