The toll metering device comprises a first storage means, a second storage means and a data transmission device. The first storage means is designed to store at least toll data. The second storage means is designed to store at least vehicle operating data. The data transmission device is suitable for transmitting the stored toll data and the stored vehicle operating data to at least one device located outside the motor vehicle by means of an electronic, wireless data transmission.
