METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TESTING HARDWARE PERFORMANCE OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

A method and apparatus for testing the hardware performance of electronic equipment. The method comprises: obtaining a test start command; responding to said command by testing hardware items respectively. The test process comprises: first, executing a performance test of a virtual machine to obtain a first execution result, and determining a first test result of the performance of the virtual machine according to said first execution resu then executing simultaneously a RAM (Random Access Memory) performance test and a CPU (Central Processing Unit) integer arithmetic performance so as to obtain a second execution result and a third execution resu or, alternatively, executing the RAM performance test, and after the second execution result is obtained, executing the CPU integer arithmetic performance test, so as to obtain the third execution resu determining a RAM performance second test result according to the second execution result, and determining a CPU integer arithmetic performance third test result according to the third execution result. It is thus clear that the accuracy of testing the hardware performance of electronic equipment is improved through a reasonable testing order of the hardware items.
