The invention relates to a suspension for producing a layer increasing the coefficient of friction on a substrate, comprising a liquid suspension medium, an extensively inorganic bonding agent, or the precursor compounds thereof, and suspended hard material particles. The invention further relates to a molded part, comprising a substrate and a layer increasing the coefficient of friction applied to at least one part of the surface of the substrate, comprising an extensively inorganic bonding agent matrix and hard material particles embedded therein, wherein the thickness of the bonding agent matrix is less than the average particle size of the hard material particles, so that the hard material particles protrude out from the bonding agent matrix, and wherein the layer increasing the coefficient of friction has been formed from a suspension according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for producing the molded part described above, and the use thereof for producing press or clamped connections as a retaining element for screw connections.
