Production of comparative test bodies for non-destructive testing with representative fissures regarding their orientation and test method

The method involves bringing a slot into a plate by application of force a crack at an end of the slot. A desired shape of a comparative test specimen (13) is formed in the plate in the desired orientation with respect to the crack after introduction of the crack. The comparative test specimen is cut out from the plate such that a crack is present in a curved area of the comparative test specimen in desired length.
