The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing, as an active ingredient, a mixed extract of Alnus japonica, Descurainia Sophia, and Peucedanum praeruptorum, or a fraction thereof for preventing or treating cancer; to a functional health food composition containing, as an active ingredient, the mixed extract of Alnus japonica, Descurainia Sophia, and Peucedanum praeruptorum, or the fraction thereof for preventing or alleviating cancer; and to a method for preventing or treating cancer using the composition.
