The invention relates to a metalorganic polymeric system which coordinates highly stable particles having functional groups on the surface that can act as anchoring points for different species which have properties such as luminescence, and chemical, catalytic and/or biological activity. The invention also relates to a method for the micrometric and nanometric synthesis of the metalorganic polymeric system, and to the applications of same.
