A container is provided for transport of aggregate material and a respective railway transport truck comprising the container, in which a containing structure (4) exhibits at least two opposite lateral walls (6, 7) and two opposite head walls (8, 9) defining, in cooperation, an internal housing space (10); the container structure (4) further exhibits a separating wall (11 ) located internally of the housing space (10) and constrained to at least one of the lateral walls (6, 7) for dividing the housing space (10) into a containing compartment (12) located superiorly and an unloading compartment (13) located inferiorly and in communication with the containing compartment by means of a passage opening (14). An opening/closing device (15) selectively places the containing compartment (12) in communication with the unloading compartment (13) according to whether the transport truck is in transporting conditions or unloading conditions.
