The present invention relates to a method for detecting the average glandular dose during digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis, which can be applied not only to two-dimensional digital mammography but also to three-dimensional digital breast tomosynthesis, thereby measuring the glandular dose at respective angles, and a recording medium in which a program for executing the method is recorded. A method for detecting the average glandular dose during digital mammography according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a HVL setting value receiving step of receiving, by a calculation processing unit, a HVL (half value layer) value set by the user in the unit of mmAl, from a key input unit; a compressed breast thickness value receiving step of receiving, by the calculation processing unit, a value of thickness of a compressed breast set by the user from the key input unit, after the HVL setting value receiving step; a SDD, K factor, and mammary gland ratio setting value receiving step of receiving, by the calculation processing unit, a SDD, which is the distance between an X-ray source and a detector surface, a K factor, which is a value obtained by dividing an actually measured kVp by a displayed kVp, and a mammary gland ratio of a breast, set by the user, from the key input unit, after the compressed breast thickness value receiving step; an exposure dose setting value receiving step of receiving, by the calculation processing unit, an incident exposure dose value measured at the detector surface when there is no back scattering, set by the user, from the key input unit, after the SDD, K factor, mammary gland ratio setting value receiving step; a target/filter combination setting value receiving step of receiving, by the calculation processing unit, a combination of a target (positive electrode) and a filter in an X-ray tube, set by the user, from the key input unit, after the exposure dose setting value receiving step; and an average glandular dose detecting step of obtaining the average glandular dose (D) during digital mammography after the target/filter combination setting value receiving step.
